Abstract

This book looks at case studies of urban legacies of mega-events world-wide. This chapter explores how deprivation has been represented and how the role of masterplanning in addressing it has been framed in urban policy and planning strategy connected to the development of the London Olympics' much heralded urban regeneration legacy.
