We conducted a comparative benchmarking assessment that focused on the existing capabilities and completeness of vision for the future of asset management in the asset intensive companies. The research identifies major difficulties with the current methods, technologies used in fixed asset management in these companies, and provides a range of improvements based on the case study data and cross-industry comparison, focusing on people, processes and technology.
