Abstract

various monosaccharides were reacted with 4-hydrazinoquinazoline to give the corresponding mono- and dihydrazones depending on molar ratio used. Acetylation of the products gave the O-acetyl derivatives without N-acetylation. The antibacterial and antifungal of the products were evaluated.
